That far pole & tree would give a nice little cameo scene of a tree cutter removing those branches which are getting too near the o/head wires.
But looking really good, Sol ! The electrikery gubbins doesn't stand out or conflict with the scene, it blends in nicely because it looks correct.

Looks good Sol. :thumbs

What are your first impressions with the boingo wire ?  It seems expensive but is it worth it ?

I like the cherry picker. :thumbs  As Stu said, it would make a great little cameo with them lopping the branches and putting them through a lorry mounted shredder unit. :roll:

I did find a Cherry picker/tower truck on E-bay - it arrived today & unfortunately I do NOT model in 0 scale so it will sit on the shelf.

So I will have to keep looking.

I've only just seen this thread and thought I should warn you, you don't need a transformer to bring 3-phase (415V) down to single-phase 230V (used to be 240V). You only get 415V by measuring across 2 phases. If you measure from any phase to either earth or neutral (essentially the same thing) then you will get around 230V.
So, you can scrap those transformers :shock:

My rail history has it that in the giddy days of lots of trains & Charde was a through station & had a loco depot, the 3-phase was used predominantly in the Maintenance shed. Even after that requirement vanished & the transformers removed, the power box remained as a interconnecting point for all of the other power needs of Charde.
The railway company was lazy in some aspects of modernisation !

But you would need a transformer from 3-phase 11,000v, which is the usual voltage of low level cross country power lines.
