G'day Martin,

The current 'video of the week', A Steam Train Passes, is a cracker ! I haven't seen that video for atleast 25 years or so. I still remember the first day I saw locomotive 3801, and the passion for that loco hasn't died. I still think today that she is the best sounding loco, on the planet, even compared to The Flying Scotsman when she came down under for our centenary celebrations back in 1988… Anyway, for those wanting to know what has happened with 3801, she is still in a few pieces at Chullora, in Sydney, waiting for her boiler ammendments from DB Mennigen. One day, 3801 will ride the rails again, hopefully sooner than latter.

After a very long week, I have updated the "video of the week". The button to watch it is at the very top left of every page.

It doesn't need Flash, so should work on Apple devices and mobiles.
