how about a thread on how you paint your people ?  I noticed you said you were busy painting them and painted in overall black first.  I remember seeing an article on just such a method somewhere
Petermac

If you google the platelayers model railway group in Canada and then find members web pages, find the link to  Brian Fayle, it is the reference you will need.  He has a step by step instruction on painting people.

Sorry I have not posted for a while.  Work got a little busy, however, I did have some free time to work on a few projects on the Bickley Central
I finished the canal, and gas works.

Welcome back william. I thought we had lost you, but you have come back in style with more super pictures.  Is that a scratch built gas works or have you used a kit.  Which ever it does look very good.

William, I have read this topic now from the start as I did not join until late last year.
A very good layout room & layout - taken with the track plan & the scenery you have done to date.

Great to see you back on here William, kept your place warm for you. The gas works is a wonderful addition to the layout, like it.

Really nice William, I like the way the colours you have used in your scenic work blends so well with your backdrops.

Are you going to do any more weathering on the various tanks?  and are the trees homemade (in the shot looking down to the canal)?  they look really good.
