Work carried out over the past couple of nights have finished the walls and tunnels leading into the F/Y and the wall at the far end, track has been sprayed ( over the weekend and all the box-files left out in that garage to dry ) only for a leak in the roof with all that heavy rain and one of the box's has got wet  so it's in the conservatory trying to dry !

I see no reason why not! I have used both matt & gloss spray & all seems OK but don't expect either to fight off hordes of wetness from plastering, etc. Dampness yes, but soaking, NO.

That all said, I have not used brush varnish & suspect that will also be OK.

I have used brush varnish it does a great job, even better than spray as it puts a thicker coating on .

Small amount of work carried out over the weekend, with a longer wall added to the main tunnel, none of it is fixed yet, still working out the next step :hmm

Alan - whenever I try to look at your photos they take for ever to download - it's probably my internet connection but just to confirm this how big are the files?
