Most MR trees seem too small to me...

Thanks for the "How to" Gary :thumbs  Not a "new" method but just extremely well done.:pathead

Very nice trees as well Tim & Alan :cheers

They each take a long time to do so it's a good job we don't build whole forests otherwise we'd have no time to build the layout ………..but then, with trees like that, who'd want a layout……:lol:

Hi Tim,

That's a pretty nice looking tree. What is the name of the material used for the trunk ? I'm impressed by it ! :thumbs

Cheers, Gary.

The trunk of this particular tree is a root that has been cleaned amd dried, the smaller branches are Sea Moss with a layer of scatter material.

Not all scatter materials are equal and the best is worth the outlay.

Thanks Tim. Speaking of 'sea moss', does anyone know of a supplier/s in Australia for this wonderful looking material ??

Cheers, Gary.

Gary, without me spending a lot of time- try this link

Perhaps N-gaugers should buy trees meant for OO gauge, and OO folk should

use O gauge stuff.

This should give a better tree size.
