Hi Guys

I'm getting the error below when trying to load any topic in any Forum:

 

Critical error – bailing out

This is an error that has been elevated to critical error status because it occurred during the primary error mechanism reporting system itself (possibly due to it occurring within the standard output framework). It may be masking a secondary error that occurred before this, but was never output - if so, it is likely strongly related to this one, thus fixing this will fix the other.

Depending on the error, and only if the website installation finished, you may need to edit the installation options (the _config.php file).

Me too - trying to downloaSite Error - Loading Topics - Your Model Railway the jigsaw…

Working on it

I've only just been able to load a forum topic after a two hour wait.

Will wander over to the jigsaw, then see if anything interesting is occurring.

Hope matters are able to improve soon and a big thank you to those who know how all the gubbins below deck works!

My wander over to the jigsaw was fruitless, as I guess Alan unfortunately has the gremlins reaching out from the ether.

Alan had problems this morning trying to load it, maybe part of the same thing.

Unfortunately the moderators can't fix the problem, so we're having to wait for the Forum Administrator to have a look.

Please bear with us, and we'll post an update when things are back to normal.

So have I, already done me washing, have Metcalf and Ratio kits to build, a canal to sculpt on the layout, a Tomix track cleaner to convert to DCC, not to mention getting to grips with a SprogIIIV4

The dreaded 'Critical error ' page is back again 😟. I had hoped it had gone forever.

I've not had that so far today Claus, although things seem a bit slower.

Ditto, well at least 30 seconds.

Took 40 seconds and then got Critical error.

Just did i again and it worked ok, but still over 30seconds.

Passed this to Jay.
