Site Error - Loading Topics

Hi Guys

I'm getting the error below when trying to load any topic in any Forum:

Critical error – bailing out

This is an error that has been elevated to critical error status because it occurred during the primary error mechanism reporting system itself (possibly due to it occurring within the standard output framework). It may be masking a secondary error that occurred before this, but was never output - if so, it is likely strongly related to this one, thus fixing this will fix the other.
Unfortunately a query has failed [SELECT privilege,the_page,module_the_name,category_name,the_value FROM cms_group_privileges WHERE (group_id=18) AND (1=0 OR privilege='see_stack_dump') UNION ALL SELECT privilege,the_page,module_the_name,category_name,the_value FROM cms_member_privileges WHERE member_id=370 AND (active_until IS NULL OR active_until>1704541546) AND (1=0 OR privilege='see_stack_dump')] [MySQL server has gone away] (version: 10.0.43, PHP version: 7.4.33, URL: //forum/index.php?page=topicview&id=snagging-list%2Fpages-not-loading)

Depending on the error, and only if the website installation finished, you may need to edit the installation options (the _config.php file).

ocProducts maintains full documentation for all procedures and tools (including disaster recovery). These may be found on the Composr website. If you are unable to easily solve this problem, we may be contacted from our website and can help resolve it for you.

I've only just been able to load a forum topic after a two hour wait.

Will wander over to the jigsaw, then see if anything interesting is occurring.

Hope matters are able to improve soon and a big thank you to those who know how all the gubbins below deck works!

Best,

Bill

My wander over to the jigsaw was fruitless, as I guess Alan unfortunately has the gremlins reaching out from the ether.

Alan had problems this morning trying to load it, maybe part of the same thing.

Unfortunately the moderators can't fix the problem, so we're having to wait for the Forum Administrator to have a look.

Please bear with us, and we'll post an update when things are back to normal.

The dreaded 'Critical error ' page is back again 😟. I had hoped it had gone forever.

Sorry, this thread took over 30 seconds to open up so I could read it - something must be really gumming up the works ...
