Didn't know you could get .8mm Leds? Might be just what I need for the lamp on Pentrecourt Halt.

Today Reg (Sparky) and I were supposed to visit a railway exhibition at Tring, however, for a variety of reasons we did not get beyong Reg's railway room. We had a brilliant day testing locos and we also did some work on the track of Blossom Hill MPD and in developing the next section of track. The layout is not far off from running right around the room.
Whilst testing I took a few pictures of various stock items and I am sure Reg won't mind me posting them on his layout thread:
The first train tested was a new Bachmann Chiltern Railways DMU, which produced a good turn of speed running the long straight through Blossom Hill station:
On loan from the Upton preservation society is this Hornby Duchess:
A number of BR Blue Diesel locos sitting in the approach to the MPD:
A class 24 and 37:
An old Hornby Hymek, sitting in the goods yard headshunt at Blossom Hill:
Another Class 24, this time in green;
A Network South East class 33 express:
Going the other direction a NSE Class 108 DMU:
And finally a shunting thingy. Reg did tell me what it was, but it is a brilliant little machine that runs really well:
Overall a great day, and given the weather was better than going to the exhibition!

Some great looking locos - particularly the first one of the Chiltern DMU - some really tight focussing there :thumbs and I even like those blue ones - it must be down to the bad head cold I've got just now (in fact, it's extremely severe and almost life-threatening but Liz doesn't understand :roll::roll:)

You say it runs well. I'm guessing it's DCC. Mine is DCC equipped but it's not that good on DC.

I hope no one else has asked this and I missed it (sorry of I did): what sound is fitted into the class 37? It didn't sound like either the standard Bachmann unit, or the Howes unrefurb one. :question
A nice layout wth lots of atmosphere - I particularly like what you have done with the platofrm buffers and buildings beyond (especially good now it has featured in the heading photo for the month).
:cheers
