I have updated the "Video of the month". Button top-left of every page. Next button along to hide it when you have finished watching.

The first 15 minutes is a fascinating look at an 0 gauge railway which has no wiring to the track. The rails could be plastic or wood and it would still work just the same.

But it's fully signalled and operated using a lever frame and block instruments.

  Well worth a look.

I have no interest in GWR branch line terminii but Wow! - how can you not like Bodmin with its realistic operation, signal box levers and block instruments!!

Exactly, although I'd say I like all railway companies. This particular one though, the bees knees.

This is a 3-hour cab ride through the Derbyshire hills with 2300 tons of limestone.

With detailed captions and historical notes. Well worth watching.
