Click the button top-left of every page to view the video.

To celebrate the move to the new server, I thought it was high time the video of the week 5 years was updated.

"Video of the week" button top-left of every page, for a look at a nice GWR layout.

Martin.

Nice video Martin ! Dont suppose you fixed all the links in the video Archive as well ? Half of them have been dead for ruddy ages !  I'm sure the members can supply some suitable material
Note I DID say suitable  :cool wink

Cheers

Once opened, I couldn't close that window or leave it! Had to close YMRC, surely can't be what you want?

Whichever. Browser you are using Colin press the back- left facing arrow  (two arrows facing in opposite directions either top or bottom  of your screen depending on the device/ browser you are using) That should back you up one stage from whatever you are doing ie back out of the video

nothing happens when I hit the < button as suggested but then I spotted a button top left "Hide Video" that works

I was using the < button on the Keyboard, now I've reread the instructions I've found the correct back button.

As it happens, hide video is a better option

Just sayin'

At 6'4'', Bill is a tall chap, then again, when horizontal he is rather long and people often used to trip over him! . . . and so a nickname was born :)

Theres some good old stuff in there, and going forward we can add in some new links so if anyone has some links to anything they feel would fit well, feel free to post them here and the members can start choosing what ones they would like to see in the Archive  :hmm
Cheers

Hi Matt,

For starters, the one I just removed from the video of the week:

The archive was intended to be a record of past videos of the week, for anyone who missed them.

cheers,

Martin.

This went to the other place first, seems it better belongs here:

Could I be so bold as to propose addition of these two favorites of mine? That'd give you two weeks worth and buy you some time Matt!

The Torbay Express- 6024

Great steaming thru Somerset Countryside then see the sections thru Dawlish 2:30-3min and again at  8:30- 9min #,  - of course  I'm biased!

Turn the clock back 60+ years and that could easily be me  watching from the gate at Backwell; (0m:18sec). Only a few miles from my home.

The Jacobite - Fort William to Mallaig

Both videos are superbly recorded in HD / Stereo Sound to remind us of the magic of Steam.
