Yeah Sorry I DID try to answer but the only thing I could say was ' No idea but no one has reached a limit yet'
We Run on a database, Don't think we are close to reaching any file Caps or any other limits Just yet and we are in the process of sorting this long term, amongst other things.

(If I can Herd these R&#dy Cats !   :mutley)

Cheers

I am grateful to everyone who has chipped in and we do have a sort of answer.

'Nobody has reached the limit yet, but we know that it's over 40 pages of x per page.'

Now what's x?

  :hmm

20 per page by the looks of it, according to mine so at least 800 ? For Peter ? And no sign of a limit yet  :thumbs

I have just checked and currently, there are 1696 messages in my inbox spread over 85 pages….

I think some of the early ones were asking if the rumour that Hornby were moving away from tinplate was true ……….

I really must do some housework and clean some of them out.

I dare not tell you how many old emails I have on various computers……………..

OK, stop bickering. You admins and mods are supposed to be setting an example.

From my own limited programming experience, I'm going to say that it's highly unlikely that any system is going to implement a limit that isn't either a×2n or b×10n

That gives us at least either 2,000 or 2,048 inbox messages and probably the same outbox capacity.
