"The view from the bridge"

Super.

Bill

At 6'4'', Bill is a tall chap, then again, when horizontal he is rather long and people often used to trip over him! . . . and so a nickname was born :)

My selection this time is from John Dew's "Granby" layout.

The urban setting and the run into the station over the viaducts looks incredibly realistic.

Thank you Peter that is very kind of you but in all honesty (and no mock modesty)  I believe my nomination of Michael's "Market Square" to be a better choice.

I'm going to be a bit contentious here…..
This is a marvellous view of John's hotel, and a worthy nominee.

But
I would choose this as my photo of the month,  Current and an absolute master class and easily my favourite image of the build……

I give you John's hotel….. from the front.  I love the way it echoes buildings around it and, deliberate or not, the square tucked away now looks even more interesting and realistic.  A busy, bustling, beautiful scene.  And it's got the Tardis!

However, I fear this will split the vote…..

Michael

More work for the Boss again this time around.

We have a tie for the May Picture of the Month between Michael's "Faversham Creek" (as was - now The Kent Coast Railway):

And this one from John Dew's "Granby Junction"  layout:

Over to you Alan ……………. :cheers

Ok no reply from Alan ( think hes busy this weekend  :thumbs). So we had a dead heat between Granby and Kent Coast Railway.
Both also had more than one picture nominated so I did some market research, long statistical analysis and other in depth studies and finally came up with a winner ( slips coin back in pocket)  Ok actually I couldn't decide so it was declared a dead heat. . BUT Granby won back in October of last year with one of the two pictures nominated this Month so I'm sure John wont mind at all that this Months winner is Michael with his

A worthy winner I'm sure you all Agree  :Happy

Cheers

Thank you, I'm both chuffed and surprised.  I feel a bit of a fraud, "winning" though, as John's superb hotel got more votes overall - it was fantastic from both the front and the rear!
