Getting in early this month :thumbs
Last months choice was difficult, Chris' Memorial photo was a no brainer but it meant I had to NOT choose a picture from one of my favourite layouts Posted by Petermac. Most of us put a bit of scerery round our layouts but my choice this month is gorgeous scenery that just happens to have a Railway running through it ! And. . Its N guage too
. (No bloomin idea how he does it  )

Yes I make no apologies for Re Presenting Marty's.  Newcastle Emlyn

Here's one of the early photos

My choice for Jan comes from waaay back in 2009 of RJR’s layout

It’s hard to pick a picture out of the set as they are so good but I’ve settled on this one.

It is a shame they all have photobucket dumped on them, ah well.

January is the dead of winter in the northern hemisphere so my selection this month depicts the winter moonlight casting a cold, eerie light over the village.  Inside the houses, peope are warm and cosy.

From Colin's Weston Heathfield layout :

As always, a difficult choice as the nominations are all worthy.  However, as it was one of the first layouts I saw on this forum and is one of my (many) favourites here, I am going with Matt's choice, and the wonderful….

Trying again …………………….

We have a dead heat this month - probably due to the fact that so few votes were cast.

The joint selections are:

And:

As we have no clear winner this month, Alan, as our "Fat Controller" will have the casting vote.

Sorry but I decided to use the original photo of RJR's layout - maybe the corrected image wouldn't repost when I tried before.  Perhaps Alan or Matt would be kind enough to remove the "Photobucket" overlay - if in fact, this should be the selected photo.

Not sure if that overlay can be removed unless, I think, copy the picture from FB to a PC and post from there but...???

It is a very nice urban feel with a lot of detail in such a small space.
