Looking after number one

Added to which there is a mentality which suggests that leaving the vents open is adequate. Or even leaving a side window slightly open. Security devices are available to allow the latter whilst still preventing access.  Neither of these will keep a car cool enough to prevent tragedy. 
There is only one safe way. Leave nothing and no-one inside a car.  Ever.
