Cannot remember
Hi All. I am a silly billy I cannot remember the passwords to my iPad or iPhone. Every time I try to use them I get interrupted, at least three times before I can carry on with my call or message. And it is a real PITA. Is there a way that I can start again ? I went along to the “ Genius Bar “ at Apple, a waste of time that was, I was asked for a proof of purchase before they would consider helping me, practically accusing me of stealing it. Best wishes Kevin

They aren't accusing you of stealing it, Kevin. Apple just have very fastidious security procedures.
If you have your proof of purchase, Apple help desk will remotely reset your password for you.
If you haven't kept your receipt, you are up the proverbial creek - sans paddle.
Cheers

As I've mentioned before write down any password combinations you THINK you may have used, then try logging in to facetime on your tablet, using each one and cross off if it doesn't work.
Cheers

The little black book.
Although quite frankly why bother. My cell phone has necessary contacts, nothing else, same with the Kindle.

At 6'4'', Bill is a tall chap, then again, when horizontal he is rather long and people often used to trip over him! . . . and so a nickname was born :)
