Will a DVD work in the same way?

Hi Terry.  Thank you for your reply. Yes, I learned that fact when “ Dad’s Army “ first appeared on TV. But for now, I have an important job to sort out, now that I have discovered that my two planks/ modules work fine, individually a short appears when they are connected with a Jumper, and that must be the Seat of the problem!   Best wishes Kevin

Was that Godfrey Terry ? I love the way this meanders from a laptop to Dads Army with a bit of Arthur Asky thrown in !

I've just been watching the Melbourne Comedy Festival.

This conversation is vaguely familiar.

Hi Max.  Thank you for your message, but I am receiving criticism for going off thread, causing a lot of frustration. The short circuit thread has to be sorted out before I can progress onto something else. Best wishes Kevin

Not so much criticism as communal frustration Kevin, we all want to get your fault sorted so you can move on to scenery and running trains!  'Don't panic Mr Mainwaring !'  We will get there  :thumbs

At 6'4'', Bill is a tall chap, then again, when horizontal he is rather long and people often used to trip over him! . . . and so a nickname was born :)

Yes by all means Kevin, but this is not actually the Inglenook thread, it's Gardening, Pets & Other Hobbies!

Good luck with your shorts and curlies though.

It's okay Kevin, I got your message the first time, but I would refer you to post 31 above and most respectfully remind you that this is NOT the Inglenook thread, so please don't tell me off for misbehaving when I'm not!

Bon courage tomorrow.

Bill
