Steady progress. Why have changed from the face to the smoke box door? I thought the face was pretty good.

I haven't changed per se, I just wanted to have the smokebox door as an alternate look. The face is done, so it's been set aside out of harm's way.

Newest thing with Thomas: Got holes drilled in his water tanks for rivet detail (after a few failed attempts and having to fill and re-drill), and have started to add the rivets.
In totally unrelated news, my right index finger and thumb now hate me.


Got Henry's water filler cap built up and have been painting the tender more. Still need to patch that crude coal door cutout.


I've also finally gotten down to business on the Tri-Ang brakevan. I ultimately decided that yes, I would shave off the molded grab irons and later replace them with wire ones, because the molded ones were very stubbornly trapping some paint.
