Hi Everyone.

Its been a while since I did an update on this thread so here are some photo's & video on the state of play.
The track & point wiring are finished on my terminus Victoria Central & the Kadee uncouplers are being wired at present.

Forgive my film efforts as at 65 this is the first time I have ever tried this

Super video Tony……….captured the feel of you layout very effectively. Lots of intriguing cameos I hadnt seen before.

I like the back scenes, particularly the sense of perspective that you/partner have created behind the viaduct,

What happened to that splendid CLC (?) station building that you had? As I remember it….. an exquisite model.

Thanks everyone for your kind words.
It makes the whole thing worthwhile.
John I still have the station you mentioned.
It has been shortened slightly to fit the baseboard width & will become Victoria Central Terminus.

Unfortunately the station has no platform side to it so that's another job to do.
I will probably take something from the Scalescenes station kits & convert it to fit.

Regards.
Tony.

So glad it will find a home on the layout :thumbs

I remember the problem with the back now

The large Scalescene station have a couple of sheets that will work fine for you

Good luck

That is one big beauty of a layout, and the station is impressive even if it doesn't have a platform side yet

Wiring of all the Kadee uncouplers is now finished.
Room is a mess at the moment so need to clear up before testing all the terminus track with the worst running loco I can find

Hi Everyone.

Latest update on this is that I'm doing the station with all the platforms, walls etc at the moment.
I'm using 15mm plastic faced chipboard / mdf that I had in stock for the platforms.
Brick platform facing, walls etc are all Scalescenes on card as is the Parcels Office which is part of the Scalescenes Large Station.
Platform edging slabs are plastic card marked out as 3ft x 2ft slabs (12mm x 8mm) in 4mm scale.
I will be using part of the Large Station as well to face the platform side of the station building.
Here's the latest photos.

Cheers.
Tony.

It is indeed max.
Wish I was the one who made it but I'm glad to have it as part of my layout.  :)

Hi Ed.

That's the thing, I don't know ?
I bought it off the internet some years ago.
Its a model of Tiviot Dale Station which was in Stockport.
There was no back to it so I will have to do something myself.

Its starting to come together alright Marty but there's still a huge amount of work to be done.
At the moment I'm concentrating on the walls around the terminus & the terminus building itself.
After that its on to yard buildings like a signal box & warehouses buildings.

I've got several buildings from various places.
Some are scratch built & will be supplement with some of my own plus the usual bought in ready made stuff.
Its a slow process but I'm not bothered as its a hobby & not a chore.
