Great pictures Rob.  DOC lives just a few miles down the road from me.  To my chagrin I haven't been to the museum since it returned.

Hi Rob,

There are some pictures on this site I took of DOC at the railway museum in St. Constance after it's return. Apart from the paint and a few bits missing (the BR speedo for one), still with the middle rod in the tender, just as it was when it was sent over originally. And IMO it looked a darn site better in BR green.

The spot they have given it in the museum is less than optimal for photos (large column in the way), but at least you can walk underneath and admire the missing bits. And walk through the tender passage (in my case sideways).

Hi Nigel,
Sorry but we will have to agree to disagree on the livery. Nothing in BR livery appeals to me, Garter Blue and Apple green all the way - but I was born and raised in GNR territory.
