Hi Ed, I've decided to put the project on hold for now.  The coach bodies have been primed.  I'll pick it up later but now I need to get on with layout building.

Just for completeness, here are the bodies:



Red oxide primer ( a lot like LMS Lake) because the bodies will painted BR Maroon.  I'm toying with the notion of doing one in Carmine and Cream.  That's a decision for later.

I used Tamiya putty to fill the gaps between ends and sides, nice stuff that.

…and the bogies



The wheels are not black but a grunge colour.  There's something satisfying about the feel of an all metal bogie.
