Yes it's a good 'un and one of Barchester's featured sites on the Narrow Gauge page.

Brian,

Probably some of the truest words you have said in a long time!  I detect a great expense of Silflor Tufts on that lay out too.

It isn't actually Jeff as I don't really know how to classify it as anything else other than a model railway, and we have a section for those. There is certainly far more information about the prototype railway on Google. It's listed on Barchester as a model railway.

I came across the site whilst i have been searching for some 009 narrow gauge standards i.e. platform to rail heights widths allowamces bridge heights etc which i still have been unable to find there is an 009 society but they require £30 a year subsription at this stage i dontr really want to pay out .

I found the site very interesting and the chap  shows a great deal how he created a lot of stuff which could be used by anyone in any scale

Brian,
I saw the layout in the flesh at Wigan last month. Its awesome. There's a massive dense woodland area in the corner, and the clouds on the backdrop just make it all look so realistic.
Its one of the best layouts I've ever seen.

Cheers,John.B.

I'm sure this layout was featured in Railway Modeller fairly recently - 2 separate features a couple of months apart.  It is indeed a fantastic layout and was a real "labour of love" to create it.
