I posted this layout on the forum, before the big crash - if it is still there hidden away I apologise.  I first saw this layout in 2005 and after the crash I was unable to locate it.  I have just rediscovered it. It is a signalling training layout as used by Anglia Railways, however, I believe it was made by Hornby.  Certainly all the track and much of the railway infrastructure is from Hornby or other RTR manufacturers.  I like this layout because it shows what can be achieved just using basic RTR model railway items and I look at it when I need inspiration.

We had a similar layout at Thameslink located at Bedford.  It was mainly used for new drivers although other operating staff were also trained using it.

We had table top exercises on it as well - of course when I was in charge of staging one it would be full of BR Blue diesels…
