Hi to the memebers

I am an old modeller having started with a two rail 00 gauge Brimtoy set when I was very young and am still 'at it' some 60 odd years later! Had a 42 year career with the 12" to the foot model - in the S&T and later as an operator. Now collect Triang TT, as well as modelling in 00 and am now having a thought or two  about 0/16.5 and maybe 7mm.

Oh well back to the asylum

A very warm welcome from France Simon.

Your interests are somewhat varied it seems - from the big boys all the way down to 3mm scale.  Your S&T experiences will serve you (and no doubt, some on here) well when it comes to wiring everything up.

Looking forward to seeing what you have in mind.

Hi Simon and welcome from one 60 odd to another.

Enjoy the forum and let us know what you're up to when you have the time.

Bill

At 6'4'', Bill is a tall chap, then again, when horizontal he is rather long and people often used to trip over him! . . . and so a nickname was born :)

But I AM only 25 in my mind Brian, until I try and lay concrete all day!

Just as well winter is coming, as I've a good excuse to play trains.
