Hi, from Mi, US

Hi, my name is Steve and I am 58, lived in the US for 27 years, remember only seeing one steam train going under a bridge when I was about five.
As I can remember, soot must have got into my eye and was made to wear an eye patch by my grandmother!
 
I have always wanted to build a model railway but never seemed to get around to it, bought locomotives and other odds and ends when back visiting England……so have a small assortment of locos and rolling stock.
 
Maybe, this winter may be the start of a small end to end layout that I have often sketched and planned.No special region or time, but just my own small world to get lost in!
