New memder

Hi all, a few words to introduce myself,I live in Tamworth  (uk) and I'm 60, i have never work in the railway industry but have loved the railways seen i was able to stand, I used to collect OO but move to O now I'm finally in a position to build a layout.
It will be 14' by 8' L 2' wide, based on a fewi things I like so really free lance if you like.
More than likely all steam tanks as I'm not sure I can accommodate a large enough curve.
I am in GOG and 7mmnga.org.uk so some where there will be a narrow gauge line, probably beer oriented.

Any commence or ideas ECT are welcome and if you are local to me feel free to let me know.

Malc

 Hi Malc,

Welcome.

O scale and 7mm narrow gauge, sounds fun. I like the idea of beer.

Hi Malc.

Welcome to the best and most friendliest model railway forum, ever.

John :)

Oh, Dr Beeching what have you done?
There once were lots of trains to catch, but soon there will be none.
I'll have to buy a bike, 'cos I can't afford a car.
Oh, Dr Beeching what a naughty man you are!

Hi Malc and welcome  :)

Is it beer o'clock yet? The sun is past the yardarm here, so the first wine of the day has washed the dust away from a hot and busy day of working outside.

Looking forward to seeing your railway as it develops.

Bill

At 6'4'', Bill is a tall chap, then again, when horizontal he is rather long and people often used to trip over him! . . . and so a nickname was born :)

Welcome, Malc.   :cheers

Tamworth is famous in Oz as being the home of country music.

When my wife was alive, we used to go there every year for the festival.

Is Tamworth the home of that famous breed of pigs?  The Tammies are favourites here with some breeders.

I hope that you have fun here.

Cheers
