Hello All. I have finally decided to start 7mm railway modelling as I have been inspired by other people’s work on this forum. So I went and treated myself to a Connoisseur Jinty, some Parkside and Slaters wagon kits.
I have also decided to build my own track and have managed to find an area of 11’6†by 2’6†to build a layout on.
I’m thinking Industrial type layout any advice would be very welcome.

7 mm has become very popular and the level of detail you can achieve can be breathtaking.
Happy kit building and let us see how things are going.

At 6'4'', Bill is a tall chap, then again, when horizontal he is rather long and people often used to trip over him! . . . and so a nickname was born :)

Welcome to the best model railway forum. Lots of very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable people on here.
John :)
Oh, Dr Beeching what have you done?
There once were lots of trains to catch, but soon there will be none.
I'll have to buy a bike, 'cos I can't afford a car.
Oh, Dr Beeching what a naughty man you are!
