Hi

I'm not actually a new member here, but have not been doing any real modelling for the past couple of years.
The last layout that I built was to put on my mantlepiece, and fits in nicely.

Just thought I'd share a couple of photos with you all.

Sorry about the sideways view ….

All your thoughts on this would be appreciated - it's been finished for about 3 years …

Cheers

Very nice, Damian, and proof that everyone can have a layout somewhere…
Is your return to the forum because you have plans to start modelling again?

I can only echo Michael's comments Damian - that's a great looking layout - presumably built during your absence from here because I don't remember seeing it before.

Are you starting something else or were you just homesick ?   :mutley :cheers

Hi Damian

So welcome back Damian, Looking forward to seeing more of your work.  :cheers

Hello Damian.  Your layout looks good.  Might I suggest that a backscene would make it look even better?  A photographic backscene pasted to some thick card would suit.

Many thanks for the welcome and the comments.

Headmaster - I built this between 2016 and 2017, but life got in the way again after that …
Petermac - feeling a bit homesick - with all that has gone on in the last 12 months - I didn't know what to do with myself!

Barchester - Spot on - and hopefully this time I will get more posted …

col.stephens - I built this originally to go on a small table, that could be viewed from any angle - and it ended up being a perfect fit for the mantlepiece …

I'm starting the benchwork for a new layout, and once the first part is completed I'll post the progress.
