On my Inglenook Junction I would like to follow tradition

Hi All.   I have a lot of catching up on my Inglenook. As there are some out of place gaps that require filling. I have been searching for Hedging material ie Coco Basket Liner, Wilko had a handy bundle? which would fit the bill, without cutting strips off  a lot of basket size liners, Scatter, and Spray glue. Of course I have studied the net, but, when I locate a supplier the stuff is out of stock or WHY. Would someone please point me in the correct direction to where I could purchase all the stuff I require in one outlet. Of course it would have to be posted to me, as I am still out of action. Hello Kevin.  Try this supplier. They do everything you need for scenery.  If you search for hedges you are offered blocks of rubberized horsehair. I have used this. You cut it into strips, stick in place, and then spray with adhesive and drop on the foliage of your choice.  They sell foliage and spray adhesive.

I would take your time Kevin, browse thier site and compile a list of all bits that you might need, that they stock and do a combined order to save on postage. Better to take a couple of days thinking about what you intend to do and what materials you need and THEN place an order, rather than having to keep going back for missed bits and incurring unnecessary postage

It sounds like you may have strayed into the wrong place Kevin. Google wwscenics.com for their website and you will find their entire range.

 I've used them a couple of times and they are very good.

Okay, but I don’t have a very high opinion of their range “price range especially “ I could see a hedge which wasn’t up to my expectations, the bits meant to represent leaves didn’t do much either. I will have to wait until I am completely mobile and model Railway shows are live. Meanwhile I shall play trains. Best wishes Kevin

You could always use cut up green dishwashing scourer pads from the pound shop. 

 May not be quite as realistic, but will be easier on the pocket.

Yes Kevin but YOU said you didnt want to ruin your good scissers. . . .so IF you were getting the scourers from Poundland you COULD buy cheap scissers to cut them up with. . . .

I have investigated the possibility of hedges from WWS and other companies for the stuff that I require , but, following helpful suggestions from YMRC and various outlets without getting what I like for the price I am willing to pay. I will have to put hedges on the back burner for now. Best wishes Kevin 

Sounds like you are trying to go all out Kevin? Why not get a couple every so often? Or see if there anything second hand as an option?

Coming in late but I have been using Woodland Scenics polyfibre. It can be easily stretched and teased into the shapes you want. From formal to rampant.

For leaves I use a variety of WS or Noch scatters.
