Hi Owen
Looks like you have your ink and consumables problems under control. Good looking models, are they 00 scale?

If you are up for it I can send you one of these, as a .PDF.

This is my own work so there are no copyright problems, just acknowledge me as the author/designer.
The drawing etc., was easy but as I designed it I did not write up any instructions but I am certain that anyone who can produce work like yours will have no trouble with assembly.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Regards
Jim

Good day Jim, nice to hear from you after a long time.Yes life goes on, South Africa will be in total lockdown from Thursday midnight for three weeks to try and control the Covid19 virus so there will be time to do some modelling, not that I go out much, into town (George) once a week or to walk my dog most days up and down the road (about 1 Km)
That is a great looking tram and I would love a copy, do you send by email or do you put it onto the site?
The pic's I put up are as you say OO scale (4mm to the foot or,  1:76) but I build them bigger (A4 page increased to A3 an increase of 41%) so the scale becomes approx 1:54
I have them printed on 160 gsm paper as an A3 format.
They are available from The Tram and Light Railway Society in the UK at 3 British Pounds each, go to the site  tramway information they will direct you to to sales office. The nice thing about these Pete Watson models is that after paying (within 24 hours max but normally only a few hours later) the model sheets and build instructions are sent to your email address and you are able to download them, the quality of print is good. I will put up a pic of the Polish tram I completed a few months ago ( not sure if I put it up before)
Thanks for the call and the offer Jim.
Regards
Owen

Hi Owen,
Can Send you either a PDF or a set of JPGs.
Since I am living in Bradford I already have the Bradford light blue, dark blue and the trolley buses light and dark blue and also the Jubilee one with special livery.
What you get from the TRLS is a zipped PDF. but if you are interested in better models by post you can get ELRO models like this for somewhere around £5.

Below is your original Bradford car which is about two miles from me.

Hi Jim, PDF is fine, as for the ELRO kits , I have seen pics of them, they look nice but the postal service in SA is so dodgy that there is a good chance of not getting the model, also the postage is so high, sometimes more than the price of the model, another thing is that the exchange rate has gone through the roof the last 3 months with one British pound costing ZAR21.Regards

Morning Claus, the view behind the tram is from the front of our cottage, it is the Outeniqua range, part of the Drakensberg range that stretches about 400km from Natal to the Southern Cape.Regards

Hi Owen,
And anyone out there reading this thread. I've been out of contact for a while as I've been in and out of hospital since November 2019 with various prostate problems but have finally got the catheter out of my life. Due to covid exacerbating things I am only now starting my course of treatment 2 years and 3 months after it all blew up. Everything is curable but will take a while.

However that was just a heads up to keep you in the loop. What I need to know is what have I sent you regards models. Please P.M. me and let me know.

Anyway let's get on with things from here onward and start to enjoy our hobby again.

Regards Jim

Hi Jim, sorry to hear about the P problems, I have been having biopsies (one every 3 years) for the last 20 years, PSA goes up and down, at the moment all ok.
You did send me  a tram or two, I think ELRO models but will have to check.

I have not done much modeling in the last 2 years, just hit a block and could not get into it.

Started to learn to play the violin last year in July but due to an old injury on my left hand have had to suspend that
aswell.

We are all getting older…….. Thanks for the message Jim, will speak soon.
