Unfortunately the SDR management have had no choice but to close the railway, including the Staverton Preservation Group to which I belong to all volunteers throughought the present crisis. Fortunately, the S.P.G. have managed to organise a skeleton staff in the interim with no appreciable likelihood of harm to the general public, see below…
