I lost my reading glasses for around 3-4 hours at the weekend, they eventually turned up in the fridge.

And I am not even retired yet.

Cheers

When I still used reading glasses I once mislaid them and SWMBO said it was my fault for keeping them in my shirt pocket instead of '…in the case they came in like I do…etc.'

As modelling was in full swing, a big search ensued with no result. I went out and bought 2 more pairs the next day. A week later we defrosted the freezer and there they were in the bottom. Yes, I know, if they were in the case and not in my pocket they wouldn't have slipped out….

Oh, and going back to Mike's O.P. have you ever poured the boiling water into the tea caddy? Douglas has…
