Would that be alluding to the fact that Pfizer make Viagra as well?

As someone said recently Shaun - if they can waken the dead they can surely kill something as small as a virus …………………………  :cool wink

I once accompanied a school trip to the local Pfizer laboratories.  My naughty head of chemistry told the pupils that they had to stand up straight when they met the scientists…… completely lost on the children, but had me tittering in the background!

The vaccinations have started here this past week.  Something like 200,000 people treated so far though of course they all have to go back for their second booster soon.

We have been advised that we are both in the "priority" category but reading the finer print we are down in "Group 7" which is expected to be invited for their shots in the arm during January or February depending upon circumstances.

I am categorised by age and SWMBO by vulnerability as she is ten years my junior and would otherwise fall outside the initial priorities.

Still there are very few cases here - only six in the past week - yet we are lumbered with Tier 3 when areas with much higher infection rates are in Tier 2 or even now in Tier 1.  If I start sharing my opinions I'll be surgically removed from the internet.

.  .  .  but at least we don't need to carry a note from our mum with us anymore!

At 6'4'', Bill is a tall chap, then again, when horizontal he is rather long and people often used to trip over him! . . . and so a nickname was born :)

Excellent news.  We are awaiting the offer.  Still anticipated to be during the early weeks of next year although which vaccine we get might depend upon the process of accepting the Oxford one.  I'm not bothered.  I trust either to be as OK as we are going to get.

Its definitely good news the vaccines are going out. I've not heard of anyone round here getting it yet, although several members of the MRC are well into their 80s.
In Norfolk, Two of the four  hospitals and half a dozen medical centres  are issuing the jabs, the nearest to me being  round trip of 50 miles.

I'm in round 6 or 7, SWMBO  in round 8. Who produces the vaccine we don't care we just want it…

Now I've finally started a model railway…I've inherited another…
