Hornby Skaledale pre-1960 road signs..

Now discontinued, I seek a 'road narrows' or give way' or 'halt' type sign pre-worboys from this series. Can anyone help?

Sorry Douglas, had a rummage in the 'to be used one year ' drawer and as I thought none in there

All I found was this little pack, picked up years ago in a mixed box of Odd and  Ends. Someone obviously spent some conciderable time carefully cutting these signs out from a sheet and glueing them to old matchsticks or cocktail sticks. No idea of the Origin !

Good luck with the Hunt  :thumbs

Hope all goes well on Thursday Doug.  As you probably know, here, one gets the results immediately - while you wait.  Is that the case in UK or do they let you know later ?

Take care and seasonal greeting to you and the Station Mistress.  :cheers

Sending good karma to you Doug and an extra special bottle of SLW.

Warmest wishes,

Bill

At 6'4'', Bill is a tall chap, then again, when horizontal he is rather long and people often used to trip over him! . . . and so a nickname was born :)

Best wishes from here too.  I managed to go down with a severe bout of gastro which cancelled Christmas entirely.  During recovery the dehydration which that caused set off my gout which is only just beginning to ease.  Not the best of Christmas - New Year holidays and nothing to do with the wretched virus.

John Dew has provided the same answer as I would have.  Probably your best bet.
