In a world driven by market forces I did not notice any leap in the value of the pound sterling against the euro or the dollar on the election of the Buffoon-in-Chief....

Given what the USA and UK now have, I expect an ailing Angela Merkel to step down in Germany and be replaced by a giraffe.

I have no idea how Boris plans to pay for all his promises - not sure he has either - but, compared to all the gloom and doom of the last 10 years, he is like a breath of fresh air.

The old "can't do that" system wasn't working so sweep out the old fuddy duddies and bring in some young, vibrant blood with new ideas and a bit of drive about them.

Understandably, I'm no Brexiteer but his promise that foreign nationals already in UK will continue as now, suggests that ex pats will receive the same assurances from, in our case, Mr Macron, so that's something positive.

My guess is that he'll either make or break Britain and the best thing is, we'll know which by October 31st !!!

It's funny how many words end in Tory.
Including lavatory.

Prime Minister?  Not in my name.

Not in most of our names Rick - our new PM was elected by 160,000 members of the Conservative Party - that's how democracy works …………….. :hmm

Like everyone else, however they voted, the markets known how this is most likely going to end.

II beleive it also due to inside infromation, mainly private polls why some parties want an election, others a referendum and others are trying to avoid them.
