Impressive looking layout there.

Oh for a 100 ft long space - maybe I should learn to play the piano ………………………..

And a great example of "It's my railway and I'll do what I want to!"  A great advert for the hobby

The layout feastures in this month's Railway Modeller.  I gather that Jules Holland owns the layout but most of the modelling is the work of others.  Still, nice if you can get it……….

And its good that these celeb types are prepared to step up and say "I am a railway modeller".

I am not sure that he has ever been in print but Phil Collins is an N gauge man apparently.

Not really a fan of Jools or Phil - until I discovered their modelling interests!  Maybe more artists can tap into a new market!!

And Nick mason of Pink Floyd.l The only link I could find is that these folks are also generally petrol heads and bought their Ferraris and Masers from Colonel Ronnie Hoare who owned Maranello Concessionaires (Britain's first Ferrari dealership) and was famously a huge Gauge 1 fan and acted as a mentor with many of the musical railway fans.  Mason then went on to have Morntane Engineering for his Aston interests and Modena Engineering to service his Ferraris, when Ronnie Hoare conked it.  Mason has "trustees" who look after some of his cars. I have been in his DB4GT and International and his 250 GTO when Terry Hoyle was looking after it.  Can't be many who've been in 2 GTOs. I guess I was in the right place at the right time.  Giving away my other interests here!
Cheers,
Martin
