Carno was one of the intermediate stations on the Newtown & Machynlleth railway. Although it has survived it has undergone some changes, such as losing the chimney stacks, as you can tell by comparison with the very similar stations at Cemmes Road and Caersws. It's now owned by Laura Ashley. I have a few more pictures if anyone is interested.
