Just what it says on the tin. If an issue  is raised that we need/ hope to look at we'll try and list it here so you know we are aware  of it and WHEN time permits,  Will be looking at fixes or at least give a reason why not.

Emoticons from old site :- These will be Imported so they display again and can be used going forward. Can be done (some have) :- when Jay gets time.

Emoticons 2) :- access to in house emoticons from mobile platforms ? ( I miss my Mutly when posting from a tablet 😔 )

Signatures not displaying :- To be  Imported and displaying in members posts.       Done  ✅

Auto picture sizing ?  At the moment user defined on import (user needs to re size before adding an image to post)  Possible forum Auto resize on upload ?

Likes Button :- Possibly in the future If the  Forum gets busy. I know on a busy forum it means you can show support for a post without actually replying, but atmo I think it helps Forum traffic if we take the time to reply to a post we like. But never say never 👍

Mark all posts as read :- there IS one in the Notifications  drop down to mark THOSE as read, but not seen one for Forum wide posts. Will investigate  🤔

Large text Imported from old site (over 10,000) Jay has fixed majority of them behind the scenes BUT a small number of ODD sizes remain. :-  Original Poster or Staff who CAN edit post, Can edit the post, highlight the text concerned, then click on the 'Size' drop down menu, choose 1 or 2 to re size the text, and  then scroll down and  'Save' the post

The members colours. The old forum displayed  members as green and Moderators as blue etc. This system works differently so no Different colours are displayed in the profile box in a post. You know who we are by the the description under your profile image. 'Full Member'  'Staff'  'God'  oh sorry that should read 'Site director'. You WILL see if you scroll to the bottom of the page that there  ARE some colours shown but these don't display in the members profile pane in  a post. Aparently 'God' said they are way over rated and completely un-necessary  as HIS is the only one that matters. Maybe one day he will take pity and do something about this for us lesser mortals ( humph not holding me breath)

Forum list on front page re structure :- FINALLY with the new software it is possible to move Forum headers and sub headers around (It was totally  broke in the old forum)
I'll  look at moving some more popular  ones up, reference ones down and dormant/ dead ones into a storage locker ( most of those are hidden anyway but now I can move them. A couple of the forums with a really long sub forum list will be made naturally  collapsed  but clicking on the main forum title will expand the list down.
An example  is 'The Prototype Photograph Archive' which has 35 sub forums. If you lose something. . . Just ask me 😊

Add to FAQ's :- waiting on a permission  tweak ( when he finds it 😏 )

Clock :- please God can we have a clock ? Pretty please ?

More to follow. ( I'll  probably just keep editing this first post to add more so check back sometime)

I know there's one in the Notifications drop down to 'Mark all read'  Ron, but I've not seen one for posts in the whole Forum. I'll  add it to the list to investigate  👍

I did mention somewhere about a "topics I started' type of button similar to Coli W's last comment on th FORUM IS LIVE thread.

I've found that if you put an asterisk in the search box, top right home page and then click search, you get search options.

I put my name in as the author took the asterisk out of the search field and left it blank, and filled in the other fields as below and you do get a list of topics you've started.

search.png .

Not great, but better than nothing.

Hi Ed,

tried that with these settings
Search 1.jpg
and all the 11 hits were in topics started by someone else but where I'd had input, hence doesn't perform what it claims to do as of now. I have at least two of my own topics falling into the 365 day window and neither was found.

Meanwhile I see Martin Wynne has posted a link to find "Topics I started" so I'm off exploring that help now

I didn't go into advanced options Colin and left the date as N/A, but don't matter as Breakage has done a button now

Posting here to say that I am well aare of a large amount of midnight oil being burned and hair being torn to keep us afloat.  My thanks to those involved.  It isn't an easy task and given the state of the previous software (which was some new definition of "flaky" hitherto unknown to the internet!) we are indeed very fortunate to still be here.  Keep up the good work - at your own pace.
