Notifications.

Hi,

For a few days now, I get a notification for a post but when I click on it, it doesn't take me to the post in question, but only to Firefox. Nothing's changed at my end so I wonder if others are having the same problems.

Edited to say that the problem does look like it's at my end. I've just tried following links to two other sites and I only get the Firefox page. Now to try and find out what to do.

Thanks, Ed,
No, but I've just realised that if I click the link when Firefox is all ready open, it works.

It works ok for me in MS Edge without it being open, so I changed my default browser to Firefox and it still worked ok.

Might be your version of Firefox.

I'm using a laptop and I always open Calendar Thunderbird Mail and Edge before I do anything.

Hi Ed,

I should have said that I'm on a mac. Firefox is up to date, but I wonder if it's got a bug. I also use Thunderbird.

Probably the Mac version of Firefox or the OS Pete.

I had a Mac a few years ago, but I got so fed up with it restricting what software I could put on it, I sold it, made a loss and still got a higher spec Windows PC with the money.

Just try and remember to open Firefox before you click on any links in notifications.

OS hasn't changed recently: not since quite a while before this, anyway. I'm still thinking that Firefox is the cause, but as you say, make sure I open Firefox first.
