Hi, first post here, introducing my actual work, a micro layout built in a wine box, a lot to do before the end but I'm quite pleased with the scenery.
pavement and walls made of foam, the garage is scratchbuild, a few scale model scenery kits and voilà!!!! advices are welcome.

Looks great, Daniel! Can we have a photo of the entire box, please.

Cheers,

Looking good Dan.
I echo what Claus said, it would be nice to see the whole thing in the box.
I made my first micro layout last year out of a box file. very rewarding.

Hi and thanks for your comments. As requested the complete micro, two building missing in the backscene, one on the left side for hiding the way out.
and a few details added to the garage.

I do love micro layouts – very manageable for those who have limited time or space, and your is coming along lovely.

Please post some more as you progress.

Now that is lovely.  Track plan looks to have just one turnout.  I'm guessing there's a fiddleyard of sorts off scene.  What sort of operation can you do?

Thank you.
Brossard you're right just one point and 2 fiddle yards. for me, it was about building to train me in all the techniques before moving on to a bigger OO gauge layout.

Well Dan, from where I'm sitting, you have done a bang up job for a trainee.  I think you need to get on with something bigger.

Woweee - that looks brilliant Daniel.

That is such good modelling and yet you say you're "learning".  I'd move on if I were you - you've certainly learned enough to put me to shame.  Well done indeed sir !

Hi Dan,

I love the level of detail - way above what I could achieve. I especially like the "seaweed" water - that's a level of detail I haven't seen before.
Keep the posts coming!

Thank you both.

Code

This weekend was my first participation in an exhibition with St mary Harbour.
As much as the public loved it, the other exhibitors got curious looks at best.
The French are not ready for this type of model making. But I will continue making UK railway.

Always great fun to exhibit and the fun only gets better when the punters look askance at what you've done.

I have exhibited my 7mm layout twice now and plan to do so again at the beginning of June.  I'm in Quebec so a similar situation to you.  Railway modelling around here is quite different, mostly North American prototype.  It is rare to find a finescale layout in any scale.

My layout is two rail as you would expect, but the majority of "0 scale" is three rail which I think is quite naff.  I got some odd looks from 0 scalers who viewed my layout, as if two rail 0 is somehow wrong.

Keep up the good work.
