Ok, feather signals are a series of (usually) 5 white lights that illuminate to show a direction of travel across pointwork or junctions, kind of like a bracket signal when you talk about semaphore signalling.

These are really useful pictures.  There are plenty of reference shots of semaphore signals, but good pictures of light signals are not so easy to find.  The platform signal is just like the one produced by Berko, which i am hoping to use on my layout. Thank you for posting them.

Hi

Nice to see some Bristol signals from my old panel (Pull levers these days in Cornwall - I've gone back in time!). These date from the late sixties and are nice and chunky compared to their modern counterparts. Comet make some super brass fittings for the bases & bracket type signals.

 

Mix & match with Berko heads and you can have some great looking signals.
