Bulbs in semaphore signals

Help required.   I am building some white metal square post semaphore signals for my 0 gauge layout but now have a few questions.  1. if all wires are soldered to the signal as suggested, how do your change bulb if it blows  2. what is the smallest 2 pin plug anyone has found - thought I might be able to hide this within the gantry   3. is it possible to connect a 1.5v bulb to my accessory 5v supply without putting 4 in series

2.

 3. is it possible to connect a 1.5v bulb to my accessory 5v supply without putting 4 in series  only by installing a resistor in series with the bulb  - the resistor value can only be determined by measuring the current with a multimeter in series with a 1.5v torch cell
