On the exit tracks from Centre peninsula in which Durston, underneath & Charde on top now has signals to indicate the status of the point feeding both locations. Temporary until I get into some relay interconnections to allow the mainline point also to reflect how it is set. If the mainline is not set to either Charde or Durston, both signals will be red.
Berko signals
The perspex to the side of the left hand signal is to protect it from elbows, etc.
They are normally connected to 12v DC ( dropping resistor included with the signal) but in my case, 10V - still bright enough to see.

When you compare them to Ratio kits, they're highly competitive - and they work !!! :thumbs
I'm not too sure how many were around in steam days ……………….:roll::roll::roll:

It always pays to look through history because the actual dates are often long before one thought. I'd imagined coloured lights came in with the diesels - maybe because the line near us in my youth was only semaphore.
