i have used these in 4mm scale with no problems but i prefer ECKON light signals.

I use Berko 00 sscale lights and I cannot fault them. I have looked at the N gauge ones and they seem very similar to the ones I use. I think Berko are as good as Eckon, accept they come ready made!

Am I missing something?  I thought that Eckon and Berko were the same  products, only difference being one is made up and the other is in kit form.

Correct, both made by the same people!

so, from that, I guess Matt's preference must be that he prefers to make up the signals (Eckon) rather than buy in the ready built (Berko).

just got back on the site, i got about 10 sets, 3 colour light signals. i found you could change them slightly during construction so you don't end up with identical signals. if that makes sense
