Links to card buildings.

Matt (Barchester) has very kindly asked for links to the various scratchbuilt buildings in card which I have foisted on the hapless readers of this site over the past few years.  I will list them as I find them in the vain hope that you might derive some pleasure from following the builds.  Some are quite long, so I suggest that you make a fresh mug of tea, grab a biscuit, sit back and enjoy!

My version of Bert's garage by John Ahern.  Not a build as such, just some pictures of the finished model.

A Garage after John Ahern. - Your Model Railway

A simple goods depot based on John  Ahern's model.  Unfortunately, this build was never completed owing to the scrapping of the layout for which it was intended.

A barn after John Ahern.  Again, not a build as such but pictures of the completed model.

Tutbury Mill.  Part of a small industrial line project.

A small ex-LBSCR ground level signal box, based on former box at Adversane Crossing. Built for my layout 'Farleigh' and forming part of the 'Art of Compromise' thread.  Scroll two-thirds down page to see the model and constructional details.

I had hoped to squeeze in a short break type holiday around now but the lock-down put paid to that.  Looking for an alternative, I stumbled across this thread Terry.

There's no contest - not only have I saved the cost of the short break but reading this was far more enjoyable ……………………………….  :thumbs

Many thanks Terry - on 2 counts.  :cheers

These types of thread are really most helpful in bringing related links together in one post.  I think I have followed/read all of these builds but often wish to refer to them again, so this is a great time saver.  And always lovely and inspiring models.

Thank you Michael.  Matt's idea.  Thanks Matt for the opportunity to bring all of the models together.
