Bert's Garage in a new guise.

I refer you to the drawings on page 114 of Miniature Building Construction by John H. Ahern, depicting Bert's Garage.
Here is my take on the building, lately renamed as Bert has taken early retirement to tend his vegetable plot. This project formed part of a 'Buildings Masterclass' run online via 'Zoom' for the benefit of fellow model railway club members during the current Covid19 lockdown.
As usual the building is constructed from mount board, in this case from a free off-cut purloined from a picture framer.
The walls are covered with Scalescenes' white clapboard, painted with green acrylic after being varnished to prevent the ink from running.  The roof is covered with Scalescenes' aged corrugated iron.  Windows have a card frame and self-adhesive label glazing bars on discarded clear plastic packaging.  Signage is from the Sankey Scenics range.

Very good Terry and i like all the extra bits of detail on the doors and the plumbing.
Great finish too.
