I have built 3 or 4 Metcalf kits but never a Scalescenes building. The choice of card makes quite a difference to the building of these kits I think? Next time I will try printing it out on some A4 labels and try that method. Anyway apart from a little stray glue, I am reasonably pleased with the outcome!:)

That does look good. I've printed several kits now on A4 self adhesive stock and it does make life easier. I also cut the heavy card close to shape with a bandsaw. Saves blades. I'm just about to start on the big factory/ warehouse. This will be fun as it has to fit a triangular site. For windows, I print onto self adhesive acetate sheet from Crafty Computers. No risk of glue mucking them up.

Some good idea's there, how big is the bandsaw??

I always get my adhesive labels, paper, polyester gloss white or clear  from  Label planet they charge £27 for 25 sheets, = 0.54 per sheet, Crafty want £8.25 for 5 sheets = £1.65 per sheet.
 
If you do a lot of building it's surprising how quickly you get through 25  sheets.

A4 paper labels £10.50 for 25, all their prices include VAT and P&P.
