Started to build the pylons first - had a devil of a time getting them regular in the "curves"




so I purchased very cheaply some  half round  and strip wood & glued them together then used the paper covering


had to pad out the strip wood though but it does give a better look IMO.

yes I know, getting cropped, etc looses focus.

Your second attempt looks a bit better Ron.  I checked out the kit on Scalescenes - looks to be a good one.  Getting circular shapes right with card can be a challenge.  I haven't got the kit so can't offer much advice - looks like you're doing OK anyway.
