Additions to Model Railway Structures product line

Pots for Scalescenes T005 High St Shops have been added to the range of chimney pots to suit Scalescenes kits. This set is intended for use when you build the low relief fronts and low relief backs as a single model. Cut in half if you just want to build fronts or backs, or wait for the low relief version that will be added to the range soon.

This set has up 18 pots on a single mortar haunching which certainly saves a lot of fiddly assembly.

Pots for other Scalescenes kits such as the Small Terraced Houses  are already available.

I've been sent some first photographs by a customer of the High Street Chimney pots sets as used on a modified version of the Scalescenes shops. I have his permission to re-post his photo's, so here are some to give you an idea of what the finished product can look like.

The last photo doesn't show chimney pots but does show how he he has used photographs he has taken of real shops to create a very effective interior.

That's a brilliant model Peter - and judging by the shop name, he's from the north east ………….:roll::roll:  The chimney pots are certainly a big improvement on rolled up paper - the ribs and curves show up really well. :thumbs

I have some of your chimney pots in stock although I think they were from the pre-specific-Scalescenes era.  Unfortunately, due to pressures of spring work (coupled with a struggling mojo), my modelling has almost ground to a halt for the time being.

In an effort to do at least something that I want to do rather than what I have to do, I'm planning a small plank.  These photos have given me a great idea for one section of it - many thanks. :thumbs:thumbs:thumbs:thumbs
