Interesting idea, one motorised and one dummy.  I'm surprised that other models have not been produced.  Class 13 would be a prime example.  Basically it's a pair of modified 08's where one is a slave unit with the cab removed, operated from the other loco.  Used for hump-shunting at Tinsley yard in Sheffield.

I too had a pack of power + dummy 37s though the running numbers were different.  It's a good idea for classes which regularly ran in multiple and one which is occasionally taken up by the manufacturers though perhaps not often enough.

My dummy unit still runs occasionally, sometimes as second unit to a 66, otherwise "assisting" a Bachmann or ViTrains 37 rather than its own power unit as that requires a decent service and is not even on the workbench radar.
