Need to know on how to insert Virtual contact to start the deceleration

Hello Sir,
I already have reed contact and it turns pink,when the loco's magnet trips it.
The Loco stops abruptly at the distance i mention it to stop.
I want my loco to decelerate gradually from the ramp tp stop.
Inserting VC is difficult for me.
A i see the train does not decelerate smoothly,
It stops just like DC.
A tutorial will help us (novices like me).

I am not familiar with the use of reed contacts with RR&Co but the software should operate the same irrespective of the how the blocks are being triggered.
Have you set the brake marker in the Block?
