Very occasionally a large piece of railway infrastructure is moved lock, stock and barrel from where it was to a new home.

Today the redundant signal box at Ringwood in Melbourne's eastern suburbs was craned from the platform to a new location in the future transit interchange for use I believe as a cafe.

Such things are not often done and even less often filmed.  But on this occasion …..

Sorry, Rick, as interesting as it sounds I am not joining Farcebook even for railway related stuff.

Additionally I wish I could find an emoticon for F… o.! for the seeming legion of people who once had me in their mail box and now pester me to be 'Linked in', 'Twittable', 'Rate my cr@p' etc..

There, rant over, nothing personal, Rick,

Hmmm ….. the link should be public and not require a Facebook account.  But the ways of the internets are sometimes perverse and unintelligible.

Been playing around and it appears that Firefox won't run videos using flash player on a nexus 7. So chrome won't allow me to upload photos and post them or run flash player videos . Firefox will allow me to upload photos and post them , but won't run flash player videos. And acts odd with emoticons when I'm posting…….now trialling a browser called Dolphin which seams much faster than chrome, faster than Firefox , will let me upload and post photos, will let me run flash videos and emoticons ?

:mutley.   OK posted no probs and can edit OK  after the emotes although I don't actually see the emote until I post  just the text needed for it…but general typing seams much more stable than Firefox….sorry wrong thread for pooter stuff I know  but Dolphin browser seams to be OK on the site

Cheers

Yup Firefox and windows 7 works fine on my Acer laptop but was giving problems on the nexus. So since trying to play this video I tyhoughht I would look for something to replace it. Turns out none of them will allow me to upload photos from the nexus , for that I have to use Firefox on the lappy, But this Dolphin browser is at least allowing the vids to play and working faster and better than both chrome and Firefox so I can live with that
